breast awareness workshop 

Breast Cancer Care Scotland provides a community outreach service where groups of women from all sectors can request and book a Breast Awareness Workshop for their locality. We require a minimum number of 14 women to attend and have no limit to the size of the group.

Men are welcome to attend but these 1 hour long sessions are most valuable to women who wish to learn how to be breast aware, manage their risks for breast cancer and learn more about the NHS breast screening programme. The sessions are lively, informal and educational and you will leave with a true & factual sense of how to check your breasts for breast changes & breast cancer signs and symptoms.

Breast Cancer is now the most common cancer in women and being breast aware empowers you to recognize & report symptoms as early as possible. This can significantly improve your treatment options and prognosis. Contact lucy.woodhouse@breastcancercare.org.uk to book a session.
